Welcome to Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Parish, a Catholic church located in Garland, Texas, USA. Our parish belongs to the Diocese of Dallas. We are a family of believers in the Good News of Jesus Christ. Our Church endeavors to witness the presence of God in our world, to advance the civilization of love, to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to administer the sacraments, and to exercise charity. We share our Catholic faith with everyone.

"You shall love the LORD, your GOD, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This action is the greatest and the first commandment. The second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. The whole law and the prophets depend on these two commandments." (Matthew 22:37-40)

Due to the growth of our parish, our parish has purchased the piece of land next to our church located at 2009 W. Apollo Road for building our Parish Center. We appreciate your prayers and support of this ministry and for helping us fulfill the mission that God has given us. We understand our neighbors for allowing our parishioners to park on your property when they cannot find a parking space. We also appreciate your dedication to volunteering your time, gifts, strengths, talents, and abilities to help others through our parish. There are still many areas of ministry in our church that need your help. We also finished building our new Parking Lot (on the piece of land next to our parish's rectory). We hope that you continue to support our church financially as well as spiritually through your prayers.

WHATEVER YOU DID UNTO ONE OF THE LEAST, YOU DID UNTO ME

On the last day, Jesus will say to those on His right hand, "Come, enter the Kingdom. For I was hungry, and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was sick and you visited me." Then Jesus will turn to those on His left hand and say, "Depart from me because I was hungry and you did not feed me, I was thirsty and you did not give me to drink, I was sick and you did not visit me." These will ask Him, "When did we see You hungry, or thirsty or sick and did not come to Your help?" And Jesus will answer them, "Whatever you neglected to do unto one of these least of these, you neglected to do unto Me!" (Matthew 25:40).

HOẠT ĐỘNG MỤC VỤ TẠI CÁC GIÁO KHU

Các Giáo khu là đơn vị cơ bản của Giáo xứ nhằm qui tụ các Gia đình Công giáo Việt Nam trong cùng một khu vực để tương trợ tinh thần. Các Giáo khu còn là cầu nối liên kết các Gia đình với toàn thể Giáo xứ.

Hoạt động mục vụ tại các Giáo khu bao gồm:

• Đọc kinh Tôn vương Đức Mẹ tại từng Gia đình vào chiều Chúa Nhật.
• Luân phiên phụ trách Phụng vụ trong các Thánh Lễ Chúa Nhật.
• Trợ giúp các Gia đình liên lạc với Giáo xứ để lãnh nhận các phép Bí tích.
• Thăm viếng các Bệnh nhân trong Giáo khu của mình và tương trợ nhau khi cần.
• Đọc kinh chung khi Gia đình nào đó có thân nhân qua đời hay tổ chức lễ giỗ.

Việc Đọc kinh Tôn vương Đức Mẹ tại từng Gia đình là phương thế hữu hiệu để Gia đình được bình an, vợ chồng hòa thuận và con cái khôn ngoan, đạo đức. Vì thế, Giáo xứ tha thiết xin các Gia đình hãy mở rộng cửa đón Đức Mẹ đến viếng thăm Gia đình mình một năm ít là một lần. Đồng thời, xin Ban Đại diện Giáo khu luôn tích cực cổ võ và tổ chức chu đáo cho việc sùng kính Đức Mẹ được tốt đẹp và thánh thiện.

Ban Đại diện Giáo khu bao gồm một Trưởng Giáo khu, một Phó Giáo khu và một Ủy viên Phụng vụ do các thành viên trong Giáo khu bầu ra.

Ban Đại diện Giáo khu có nhiệm vụ:

• Tổ chức việc Đọc kinh Tôn vương Đức Mẹ chiều Chúa Nhật.
• Phổ biến các hoạt động mục vụ của Giáo xứ và sự phân công tác dành cho Giáo khu.
• Giúp đỡ cho các thành viên trong Giáo khu về nhu cầu thiêng liêng.
• Phối hợp và hỗ trợ cho các hoạt động mục vụ của Giáo xứ với Giáo khu của mình.
